Wheat futures finished Monday mixed. MPLS was the firmest, up 5 1/4 cents in the front month, with CBT 1 1/4 lower to 1 1/2 higher. KC was mostly 2 3/4 to 3 3/4 cents lower. With Wheat harvest starting, the USDA reported the 10% of the winter wheat crop has been harvested, 3% higher than the average. In addition, 87% of the crop is headed, ahead of the average of 85%. Winter wheat conditions dropped 1% g/e to 49% g/e with a Brugler 500 rating of 337, matching the low for the year.
