More drizzle is expected in parts of country including Islamabad, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) today.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Rawalakot, Bagh, Neelam Valley and different areas in Azad Kashmir would also witness rain today.
Karachi, on the other hand, will probably be expecting hot weather again with temperatures ranging between 34 to 36 degrees today. Extreme weather conditions claimed least eight lives in scattered parts of the country last week, leaving many others wounded and homeless. Four people were killed in Nowshera and Jhang due to wall collapse and lightning. Another four people, including women and children, died in Kamoke when roof of a dilapidated house collapsed due to heavy rainfall.
Land sliding had forced closure of Karakoram Highway in Gilgit, Kohistan and Khunjerab while several vehicles were struck in the said areas.
