ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal has emphasized the need to equip civil armed forces with latest technology and training. Presiding over a meeting of civil armed forces here on Thursday, he called for devising training programmes on modern lines.
He said peace and security is directly related to the economic development of the country.
He said China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is not just important for Pakistan but the entire region.
He said conspiracies against CPEC and other development projects will be foiled.
The minister gave directions for effective anti-smuggling measures and provision of quality education to children of martyrs.
